How many nappies
Does anyone know actually how many wet and dirty nappy their little one should be doing as I’m a ft mom

@Mia okay thank you see I was worried because my lo has only done 1 poo today just want to know
@Aleisha I think that’s fine. I don’t know if you’re feeding but formula fed babies usually go less than breastfed babies too xx
How old is baby?
6 days old
Should be having at least 6 heavy wet nappies and usually 1 bowel movement per day but isn’t a huge cause for concern unless baby goes for longer than 72hrs with no bowel movements, has a distended abdomen or green vomits

I don’t know for sure but when the midwife came to see us on day 17, to discharge us, she asked me how many wet & dirty nappies our girl was having daily. I was unsure exactly but she asked if it was at least 6 wet & 1 or 2 dirty, so I’d use that as a guide maybe? x
