What are the must haves and needs for a newborn only have 5 weeks left and feel like I am forgetting a few things but feel like I’ve got everything if you know what I mean Pls help…
Hey! I had an emergency c section with my first baby due to preeclampsia and baby being unwell. Due to the short space between babies, they highly recommend a planned C next time (the consultant has basically said it’s not an option to do VBAC). I’m really wondering what the difference is and what the overall proces...
It looks like I am likely to be admitted at 37 weeks, for the remainder of the pregnancy, no need to be induced as yet so could easily be 3 weeks. What would you take with you to keep you entertained in that time? I will obviously have my phone and iPad, I guess I will take the switch as well. But any other must...
I never went to the gym before I got pregnant but would like to start going when is safe to start after having a c section?
It's still a little ways away but I feel so undecided on this... With my first, I ended up with an emergency C-section, which wasn't what I wanted but I've worked through the disappointment of it over time. Now my default option for this pregnancy is another C-section and it's sort of what I'm leaning towards, mainl...
Has anyone had issues with their c-sections. I had my c-section almost 2 weeks ago now and I think it’s starting to get infected.. my midwife took a swab yesterday but I’m in more pain today:/ I’m sure it is infected quite swollen and seeping.. what do they do for it? Do they just give you antibiotics? X
Hi, does anyone know when they book you for an elective section at Craigavon? I’m 25 weeks and getting impatient to get it in the diary 😂
Hey mummas, I made this hospital checklist. If anyone else needs it, feel free to save it x
I have a couple concerns. I did talk to a nurse about them yesterday, but I'm still slightly concerned. For reference, I'm 3 weeks pp after an emergency c-section. First baby. 1. I had very little pain around my incision aside from 3 painful blisters off to the side that are believed to have been caused by an aller...
Hello, has anyone's little one had a general anaesthetic and can tell me their experience and what to expect please? In the UK as may be different in other places. Many Thanks.
I have seen mostly negative stories about c-sections on here, does anyone have any positive ones? I need to have a c-section at the end of the month and trying to stay as positive as I can despite the after care potentially being very difficult.
ladies.. i've been vaping my whole pregnancy.. i get induced thursday at 8 pm... i've tried so hard to quit but i just can't, has anyone else had this issue?? and do you think my baby will be okay??
Hi All, I’m currently just over 26 weeks pregnant and I’m looking for some advice. I’m a very fainty/often feel nauseous with very large amounts of panic. I’m currently thinking of having a planned c section to hopefully avoid this a little. I also have low Papp- a so know there could be chance of induction, which c...

I think I majorly under estimated the challenge of a c-section and recovery. I’m on day 3 post c-section and feel terrible. Finding it so hard to move around and the pain is still pretty bad. My stomach feels like a deadweight that I’m having to hold onto just to walk around. When does it get better?
Went for my check up today. Doctor said because I have diabetes they don’t want me going past a certain week. He suggested I get induced on Halloween. Is that painful? Has anyone been induced before? Shits getting real!
35 weeks + 3 days, had my first cervix check today and I’m already 70% effaced 😫 0 cm dilated. Could a thin cervix mean labor is close???
Those who had a vaginal delivery with twins, how did it go and what to expect? One of my doctors insists on me giving birth naturally even though the twins are breech and vertex now at 32 weeks. She says it’s much safer for them this way than C section. She then added “well you can give birth to the first twin vagin...
Is this really faint or not there?
