Any other stay at home Moms have their partner come home and your baby just doesn’t want daddy? I currently am listening to my child scream and cry in the background because my partner wants to console and spend time with his son, which I get, but it’s hard to hear them cry it out like this when you just want to sav...

I am such a jealous grinch

It's the 3rd time my husband deleted all his social media and all he has left is whatsapp for his own screen time. Again the reason is his "distraction" so I asked him about what is distracting him, he hesitated so I felt it must be also the women he sees on shorts and instagram. He said, yes, partially. I don't kn...

Potty training help

My daughter is 2.5 years old. She's my first. We started potty training on a whim yesterday because she asked to wear the undies I bought her for whenever we decided to start. So I brought the potty chair downstairs, and she had a "nakey bum" day yesterday 😂. She did amazing! Only 2 accidents in the morning when…

How do you do this?

So my 11 month old did her first trial at a daycare and I sobbed the whole two hours we were apart. When I picked her up she had been crying so much that she was doing that hiccup-y crying. It took her a long time to calm down. She keeps doing that shakey post-cry inhale even in her sleep. Everyone at the daycare ...

Does anyone feel pressured to visit people/have people come stay?

We don’t live near family and I feel my partner puts a lot of pressure on me to have us visit his family or they come here to stay on the weekend. One of his parents lives 3 hours away who keep insisting we come stay with them, we would only be able to stay one night with partners work so a 6 hour round trip with a ...

Baby Food

Does anyone else’s 6-7 month old baby absolutely hate baby food? My LO is definitely interested in our food but when I try to give her purees or solids (that are safe for her) she has no interest and will even gag… I never thought a baby could gag so dramatically you would think I was feeding her horrific food. She ...

Over stimulation

I’m a new Mum to a wonderful little boy (4 months). I was on the receiving end of a lot of fear mongering comments whilst pregnant…”you’ll never sleep again”, “you’ll hate your partner”, “you’ll hate your body,” “the newborn stage is so awful”. None of which has been true so far, although I appreciate its early days...

Screen time

How do we feel about screen time? I don’t like my son watching tv and if I do decide to put it it’s like 20-30 min a day. I live with my mother and she constantly puts the tv on for him no matter how much I tell her no and it pisses me off. She claims that he needs to watch tv so he can learn (and i don’t care if ...

Does anyone have recommendations for an indoor play area for toddlers? Bonus points if there is a coffee shop in it or nearby! Normal for a toddler (24m in my case) to go through a VERY picky eating stage when previously a mostly easy eater?

Send help 🫠 toddler is currently only eating select fruits and vegetables and yogurt. Refusing all pastas, meats/fish, anything new/unfamiliar is completely off the table. Won’t even touch chicken nuggets when they were his favourite previously!

Partner acting weird with phone. Not sure what to think.

So my partner is super weird with his phone. Has been the whole time we've been together, really. Sometimes, he's more relaxed about it, and other times, he's ridiculously protective. For Eg, on a few occasions, he has left his phone open and facing up when he has left the room. Normal right. Most of the time, he...
