Sterilising!

Hey ladies! Quick question, when did everyone stop sterilising bottles! My LG is 9 months and I'm hearing different views, just wondering as I can't wait to get rid of that bloody steriliser 😅😅😅 but obviously don't want her to get sick! Xx

Baby upset with feeds

My baby is 19 week and has never had a problem drinking his milk (formula fed) but recently he is getting so upset when I try and feed him, tears and screaming, eventually he will take it but not without drama! Why? Anyone else got this issue?

Infacol or Colief?

My baby is 1month and struggles with trapped wind. She’s also quite an unsettled baby in general. We were using infacol with every feed and I’m not sure how effective it was. So we were recommended Colief and advised not to go for gripe water. I EBF and don’t express so using Colief is SUCH A HEADACHE! I just use m...

Weaning and dropping feeds?

My LG is 7 months and only just starting to show interest in food. With each meal she is eating more and more but one thing I’m not sure with is when and what bottle to start dropping? Morning, midday or evening? I would appreciate some insight into some weaning journeys ☺️

How much milk

My LG is combi fed after the health visitor was concerned about her not putting on enough weight (this is a different story as sadly ended my BF journey). She is 4 months. She has 4oz expressed breast milk topped up with 2oz formula. She has started wanting this every 2.5 hours. She also has 1 or 2 breast feeding f...

Only drinking 1-2oz

I stopped breastfeeding my 9 week old on Thursday and she has taken to formula well, however she rarely finishes a 4oz bottle and only has 1-2oz before bed at 9/10pm and then another 1-2oz at 2am and another 1-2oz at 6am ish. This just doesn’t seem like enough to me as my first baby without fail always used to finis...

Bottles

Got the Dr browns anti colic narrow bottle, it leaks....as well as the wide neck glass bottle, doesn't leak, but daycare will ask me to have plastic bottles once baby start to hold on to the bottle. I bought Medela bottles, so far so good if you ask me. However, I cannot help and wonder, what are yall using?

Breastmilk onto formula.....

My son is nearly 7 month old. Apart from bottles of my milk at childminders he's been EBF. I don't think I can take the night feeds any more. For the last month he's waking up 6,7 8 times a night. Some of those times I know for a fact he's not hungry he's using me as comfort. He use to go every 2 hours between feeds...

Not finishing bottle at night

My 14 week old is waking around the same time each night but not finishing the bottle, she will only have 2-3oz, is it a sign she’s not waking for milk and could be gas or something else and it’s time to drop the night feed?

Puramino formula! Has anyone used it? Experience?

Baby’s pediatrician has recommended puramino formula as she might have cmpa. We were earlier using Nutramigen but she said we have to use the even more hypoallergenic formula. Any experienced users? Did baby take it nicely as she said that is not the best tasting formula? How about the availability? Thanks.

Switching bottles

So my baby boy is one month old and we’ve exclusively used Dr browns bottles with him, but this past week they’ve started leaking super bad. Does anyone have any good recommendations that are like the Dr browns? So far I’m considering these unless anyone’s had issues with them as well.

Meals and milk advice

We are planning to start transitioning our LO over to milk from formula but wanted to check that his consumption is appropriate before making changes as I’m worried about him then potentially lacking important nutrients. Our typical day like today was: 7:30am - 5oz formula 8:30am - Baby muesli, 1/2 small banana, s...

When did you all start taking your newborns out

Hi ladies! When did you all start taking your newborns out into the world? Like for coffee or a target run? Mine is only a week old and hasn’t left the house except for her follow up appointments. I kind of wanted to wait until the two weeks or until I ask her pediatrician when is a good time and he okays it. I’m so...

4 month old drinking every 2 hours

So my baby turns 4 months next week, he is on 5 ounces of milk but gets hungry within 2 hours of drinking. We have tried giving him 6 ounces but this still didnt help. He cries so much to the point we can’t control it when he gets hungry. Other women with babies younger and slightly older than him feed every 3-4 hou...

Changing dummy teat?

Has anyone changed dummy brand / teat shape? And how did it go? My little girl who’s 23 months is a dummy addict and we use round shaped teats by Frigg or Bibs. But we’ve just got a load of MAM “perfect” dummy’s with a thinner teat and I’m hoping it will help her teeth alignment. I’m wondering if I could change h...

Baby chewing bottle teat

Trying to introduce my EBF baby to bottles now that there’s times we won’t be together..looking back on it I should have started using bottles from the start but didn’t think about this hurdle. As you can imagine baby has no idea what to do with a bottle despite trying loads of different ones and all flow types..i...
