Naps

How are your 1 month olds napping?? We do a lot of contact naps, carrier naps, or in the swing or snuggle me (all supervised) but I know we need to do more bassinet/crib naps. This is my 2nd but I feel like I forgot everything when it comes to sleep 😵‍💫😵‍💫

Does your toddler still wake up crying?

My 2 1/2 year old son still wakes up crying every morning and after most naps. What is that about? He's rarely alone and goes to sleep with a cup, his teddies, and lullaby playing. He is rarely woken up before he's ready/woken up at all but he still wakes up crying like a newborn. Does anyone's toddler still do th...

Just me ?

Is everyone’s little ones self soothing to go to bed? Do you just put them in there bed say good night and they just go to sleep on thier own ? My mother in law told me this is what my 18 month old should be doing, she gets fed to sleep still. I feel like I’m failing

30 minute naps driving me mad

Anyone else’s 8/9 month old still doing 30 minute naps? It’s driving me mad, I feel like Iv tried everything! Unless she is being held she will wake up at exactly 33 minutes every time- pram, car or cot. I have tried shorter wake windows, longer wake windows, completely blacked out room, getting her to self settle ...

Nap/Sleep

Anyone else’s baby would seep on anything but her cot. Mine she’d sleep peacefully like that as soon as I move her in her next to me basket she starts to throw a fit 🤣

Milk supply when baby sleeps through the night

My baby is 6 weeks old and is basically sleeping through the night. She usually sleeps 7hrs and doesn’t wake up to feed until morning. I already don’t make enough milk and i don’t pump at night while she sleeps. How much does night time feeds/pumps effect supply?

Sleep

Give me your sleep schedule, I don’t know what I’m doing but he’s up every hour/2. We have a good routine but not sure if naps are influencing nighttime

Bed transition

What age did you transition your LO from cot to bed? And which type of bed did you transition too. Our child is suspected ASD and bangs his head on the cot a lot should we get a certain type of bed?

Naps at nursery

Has anyone had a once decent napper at nursery turn awful? LO has gone from 1 hour 30 to just 30 minutes and we don’t know why? They’re close to walking

5 days PP, It was another sleepless night

Not because of the newborn this time but because I'm having body aches and muscle pain. It's hard for me to get comfortable 24/7. I'm hoping it goes away as I recover. It feels much like pulled muscles all over. Tylenol and ibuprofen doesn't help.

Nap vs feed schedule

How is everyone balancing their little one’s naps and feeding schedules?? As an example my 3 week old daughter’s last feed started at 11.40, she finally fell asleep for her nap at 1.20 so she was awake for 1hr50mins. If we adhere to the 3 hour feed schedule she would start her next feed around 2.40 which gives her 4...

Sleep

I know they say comparison is the thief of joy but it’s so hard NOT to compare. I see so many people say their babies are sleeping 5 or more hours at night by this age (9 weeks). And my baby isn’t. He sleeps at most 3 hours now. But it’s been mostly 2.5 at a time. And I feel like I’m doing something wrong. I hate th...

Always wanting to nap (during the day)

My 5 month old is ALWAYS tired and I’m finding it so hard to do things with her as she’s getting tired 30/40 mins max after waking. She used to be a really good napper but a few works ago started doing the 30 - 40 mins max naps and is harder to settle to get them in however within 30/40 mins of waking she’s wanting ...

Moving into own room

Hi, my 12 week old is 16lbs and nearly 2.5ft long and has nearly grown out of his next to me crib, I know I should keep him in my room until 6 months but I can’t move his cot into our room due to lack of space. Any recommendations of bigger next to me cribs or suggestions on what I should do

Contact naps only

My 9 week old is only doing contact nap, the moment I lay him down he wakes up in 5 minutes but can contact nap for hours. He was sleeping in his snooz pod until he was 6-7ish weeks, it changed over last few weeks. I love holding him but it’s so hard to eat or even go to toilet when he is contact napping. Anyone go...
