to anyone who can’t get over their bd I promise it gets better!! trust me I used to be crying all day, wanting to die, feeling I’d never get over all the ways my bd hurt me or didn’t treat me how I wanted. never was able to stop replaying all the toxic arguments, the name calling, the cheating, the lying but one d...
Anyone else just cry easily at your partners tone if it changes slightly and then you cry about it, and then you cry bc you don’t want to stress the baby out and make them sad etc I find myself just so upset about the littlest things
I just need to vent. I'm so annoyed at my baby daddy right now. I've been with my husband for 3 years now and my daughter is 5. Baby daddy was only there for her first birthday and then shortly after I left him. Long story short, he was an abusive cheater, hence why I left. We went through the court process, I got ...
I am irritable pretty much every day. Anything can easily push me to be angry. As little as my dog following me around too close and I just get so upset. I’ve noticed I’ve gotten more and more annoyed by things and am not as patient as I’d like with my baby girl. Today was the first time I just frantically asked her...
I am three months postpartum and have been my son’s primary caregiver. My husband helps a little, but it is usually been me feeding, changing, getting up throughout the night, playing, bathing, etc. I don’t mind - I love being a mom and tried for this baby for a long time. However, lately, it seems like my baby pref...
I’m 4 weeks PP and had my first bath tonight with bubble bath but I wasn’t in too long because mum life lol. And now my stitches are hurting again? They stopped hurting last week so I assumed they healed 🥲 anyone else had this?
Ever since the baby is here I have a very low tolerance towards my husband. He does something wrong and it’s immediately like the end of the world to me. It’s difficult for me to control this anger that I feel and I just go from 0 to a 100 real quick. My voice towards him is full of anger and loud and just really no...
My child is just over a year old and I think I've had post natal anxiety for this entire time. When she was born I was really anxious about people taking her and I never used to go out with her on my own because I was so afraid something would happen to her or someone would take her 😭it started to get a bit better…
Girls that pnd can you tell me what symptoms you had please? I'm not sure if I've got it or if I'm just sleep deprived and driving myself mad
Apparently it’s more common with girls. I’ve had 2 girls and anterior placenta both times so just interested. Also interested if your baby was back to back if you had an anterior placenta because that’s another ”myth” which was true for me.
I don’t know exactly how to explain what I am currently thinking right now. as I lay in bed with my two babies 14 months and 3 months. I can’t help to think I could have done things differently for them. Me and their dad are not together and since they’ve been born it is has on and off with us. It today has came to ...
I’ve had to cut my mother out of my life, she never really played an active part in my life and was pretty abusive so being 20 weeks pregnant I’ve had to make the hard decision of cutting her out for my own mental health and importantly my baby’s wellbeing in the future. Filled with a lot of grief not having her to ...
I don’t let my 4 month old cry for more then 5 minutes, but there are definitely times when I set him in a safe place cause I gotta go to the bathroom, take a minute washing my hands before feeding him, or wait a couple mins before intervening if he wakes up fussing at night (I do this cause 9X outta 10 he’ll stop f...
So I know how most women complain about heart burn in pregnancy and they relate that to their babies having a head full of hair…I haven’t felt such and I’m 33weeks, so does that mean my baby might come out bald??? 😩😂
My baby is 7 months old and whenever I leave the room, even just for a second, she's just crying her heart out, and it's so frustrating because I can't even do any washing up or sort the washing out without her crying, and it's starting to get really overwhelming 😭
Hey, I’m looking for some advice on where to go or what to do. I’m 14 weeks postpartum and since having her I’ve always felt so overwhelmed, I’m exclusively breastfeeding which I hate as for some reason it makes me feel dirty and disgusting and gives me such bad thoughts about myself, it also makes me so overstimul...
I care about my child but I don’t feel like I love her. I don’t feel a bond with her. Im always anxious to sleep because Im scared that when I gts she’ll wake up. I don’t really sleep anymore even when she is sleep and I haven’t really had an appetite since I gave birth. Funny because my birthday is coming up and ho...
Hi guys, just wanted to know if it’s normal for my 5-6 week old to be losing little amounts of hair? It’s never happened before but I woke up this morning and her next to me crib had hair in it ☹️ x
Help I'm really struggling. My 8 month old gets very upset when we see family and it results in a lot of comments which upsets me as I feel she's judged unfairly. She's brilliant with her swim teacher, at nursery, play groups etc, to the point we get strangers come up to us because she's so smiley towards them. P...
Hey, I had my baby just over 2 weeks ago (also had stitches for 2nd degree tear) and the original stinging when peeing after birth went for a few days but now it seems to be back! I saw a midwife at the weekend and she checked stitches which looked fine and checked for UTI which was also negative. Has anyone else ha...
