I just had my second boy and I want to get on birth control as soon as possible. The only one I want to get is the copper iud bc it doesn’t have hormones. Does anyone know how long u have to wait after birth to get it put in? What are your guys experience with getting this after having kids?

I want a non hormonal birth control and it’s between the copper iud & spermicide…the iud is way more effective but I’ve heard it can cause heavy periods & worse cramping. Wondering if there are any other negative side effects I should know about? What has been your experience if you have it?

Has anyone tried out Phexxi or another spermicide? If so, how did you like it? I want a non hormonal birth control (and not the copper iud) and simply cycle tracking is how I ended up with my baby girl lol.
