Having the coil fitted tomorrow and I’m really unsure on which one to have , a non hormonal or hormonal one. I was told the non normal one ( copper ) can make your periods heavy and painful. Or the hormonal one (marina) can make you have light periods. I had a baby 8 months ago and was having the injection but it wa...
So I need advice please because my midwife is being useless with this😵💫 So I’ll be going in for a planned c-section in 11 days. This was an unplanned pregnancy. I currently have a wee girl who has just turned a year old last week. Since I was 11 years old, I have struggled with my periods (heavy & extremely…
Has anyone used Progesterone? What’s your experience of this? Good or bad!
I've had two under two for not being 'protective' 🤣 I don't want too many hormones in my body and I do also breastfeed. I feel doctors don't have time to talk to you about the options. Can someone give me info about the different options
Is 24-48 hours too soon after baby dancing too soon for implantation bleeding? I just finished my period the 17th of this month. Did the sex just stir up old period blood? I never bleed twice in one month. Do I count myself out this month as far as conceiving? I took a pill to start my period so maybe it’s my body d...
Do you think circumcision is genital mutilation?
Accident 16 days after period. Chances of getting pregnant are unlikely but not impossible. We are not against having another baby yet
In search of best option for birth control, I’m almost 5 weeks postpartum and I’m looking for insights on the best option. I’m breast feeding and I don’t want that to be affected. I also have PCOS and when I get cysts they’re huge and painful so that’s the main reason I want to be on birth control again because when...
I got prescribed progesterone today and unsure if i need to take it to the gp or the pharmacy 😂 im probably having a dull moment but Ive confused myself
Im married with 2 kids and not looking to have any more soon. Ive looked into different forms of contraception but they’re not for me. My question is; if you’re having sex with your husband everyday/multiple times a day isn’t it expensive to keep buying condoms? Like doesn’t that put you off having sex? Genuine q...
I’m currently in a FWB (friends with benefits) relationship with a guy. He doesn’t like using condoms. Most guys don’t like using them. So I just take pills.
Im 6 weeks post partum with my second and I am looking at contraception options. I’ve previously always been on the pill (I’ve tried combined and progesterone) and although I’ve been ok on both I didn’t love either (plus I didn’t have a toddler and a newborn at the same time which might make remembering to take my p...

Back story of me - been on sertraline for 2 years and been on 100mg since December 23 but the dose is too high now I think I’m struggling to feel any emotion. And absolutely no up and go about me. I just had my second boy and I want to get on birth control as soon as possible. The only one I want to get is the copper iud bc it doesn’t have hormones. Does anyone know how long u have to wait after birth to get it put in? What are your guys experience with getting this after having kids?
Has anybody had an bad experience on the depo injection? Or had a good experience on it?
I want a non hormonal birth control and it’s between the copper iud & spermicide…the iud is way more effective but I’ve heard it can cause heavy periods & worse cramping. Wondering if there are any other negative side effects I should know about? What has been your experience if you have it?
Can anyone suggest me suitable birth control and from where can I get ? No plan for babies now.
Has anyone tried out Phexxi or another spermicide? If so, how did you like it? I want a non hormonal birth control (and not the copper iud) and simply cycle tracking is how I ended up with my baby girl lol.
