Overdue and miserable

I'm a FTM, currently 40+3... Had my 40 week midwife appointment on Friday and had a sweep which she said was successful and my body is definitely on the way to going into labour. Had a bit of a bloody show after this the past couple of days. I had an evening of period like cramps last night and thought it was the ...

Baby no2

Hey, I’ve just found out I’m pregnant with baby no2 and last time I had such bad HG throughout the whole 9 months, only easing slightly at 16 weeks. I’m so nervous for what’s to come, I’m scared of the feeling and being in hospital so much, any tips I would be very grateful 🫶🏼 xx

I’m struggling and I think I just need to put it in words.

I’m almost 11 pregnant with my first baby. My first ultrasound is a couple days from now, but I don’t know how that’s going to go. I’ve been spotting (only old blood) off and on since 6 weeks and I’ve been to my clinic to get a swab and that came back fine. My OB says it could be any number of things and to try not...

FTM - anxious about birth

I’m starting to get really anxious about birth. If I go for a natural delivery - I’m worried about not knowing when it will happen, will I know if waters break, what happens when you lose your mucus plus, how much it’s going to hurt, will I tear, what’s the recovery like and everything that comes with it. I really ...

Navigating high-risk pregnancy

Found out after a recent ER trip that my pregnancy is now high-risk. This is super anxiety inducing since this is my double rainbow baby. Dealing with gestational hypertension and gallbladder issues induced by pregnancy, which means I’ll have to have my gallbladder taken out 6 weeks postpartum. I now have bi-weekly ...

Am I right to be upset? I’m 26 weeks pregnant and my husband said “omg you are literally always eating”.

So as mentioned I’m 26 weeks pregnant. I suffer from HG so it’s not been easy. I eat more often but very little amounts due to the nausea and sickness. I also tend to snack in between mostly when I feel like I’m going to be sick. My husband knows this and yet he said this. Am I right to be upset?

I’ve lost 2.5 stones in 3.6months. Does this sound concerning?

I am 5 months postpartum. I do not breastfeed. Stopped at 2 months pp. I have intentionally changed my diet. However I do not exercise at all. I avoid red meat, extra sugars, junk food, mainly eat grilled if I eat out, and I do not snack. If I need to snack, I might have a fruit or nuts or 0 fat yoghurt. But rarel...

GTT test

I have my glucose test in 2 weeks and I am so nervous. I have had horrendous sickness and was diagnosed with HG and I’m worried I won’t be able to do the test as if I eat or drink anything I will throw up. I’m also unsure if I’m allowed to take my anti sickness meds beforehand because if I don’t I know 100% I will t...

What was your partner’s reaction to second pregnancy?

I just found out today that I’m pregnant and have a doctor’s appointment next week to confirm with them, and I’m curious how your partners all reacted when you told them about your second baby. We were talking this morning (before I took a test) and he says he doesn’t know if we should keep it. Is it just anxiety ab...
