C section or normal birth

Giving birth normally a 2nd time fills me with dread as my 1st was traumatic. I opted for a c section this time but was nervous about then having to look after a 3 year old and a newborn feeling sore. Section has positives, ie I can arrange childcare for toddler, can plan but what if recovery is hard. Saying that 1s...

Have my waters gone?

On Sunday evening and Monday morning I lost my mucus plug, yesterday I had a little discharge, but today I feel myself leaking. When I get up from sitting down, when I got out of bed, and sometimes when just walking around. I have checked and it doesn’t look or smell like urine. It’s clear and watery. Could this be ...

Delivery, what do we actually need?

I keep reading and seeing that we need a whole bunch of things on some sites while other ppl recommend not purchasing too much because hospitals tend to give things away. I’m so confused as to what we actually need. Any advice?

How to keep labor moving?

Started regular contractions around 11pm last night, the worst pain I’ve ever felt. Went in to L&D around 9am this morning when they got to 4min apart. They said I’m 90% effaced but only 1cm dilated so they sent me home to labor longer. I’m still getting contractions but now they’re about 7-10 minutes apart. How can...
