For various reasons it’s looking like I’m going to have to pick an elective c-section for the delivery of our baby. I was just wondering if mums who have had a C-Section wouldn’t mind sharing their experience? I’m trying to get as much information as possible!
Hey hey! I was induced at 36 weeks with my first baby due to preeclampsia. I labored for 40 hours and made it to 7cm but he wouldn’t drop so I requested a C-Section. I recently found out I’m pregnant again! I’m super early so there’s plenty of time to decide but I’m considering a VBAC. Anyone have an experience yo...

I’m 3 weeks postpartum, I haven’t been in any pain and been able to move around and do things like normal but yesterday my stomach started feeling really tender and kinda sore every time I move. It kinda feels like I have a gas bubble stuck or something … not sure if I just maybe overworked myself too soon or what …
I am a bit unsure about what to buy in terms of recovery kit. I plan to have a vaginal birth but I could end up having a c section. Who knows? What’s best to do? What are the essentials no matter the type of birth?
Ftm here from the UK, how many days are you expected to stay at the hospital? I know someone who gave birth in the early hours of the morning and was back home that same day at 6pm, is that the norm?

I’m thinking of changing from my local hospital to one that’s slightly further away to give birth. I’m going to speak to my midwife at my 25 week appointment. Does anyone know the process of doing this? Is it hard to change hospitals or easy? Would all my future appointments then be at the new hospital, or only b...
I’m planning to go to the emergency room and labor/delivery at MLK but I’m quite nervous. I don’t like hospitals so would like to know if anyone had a good (or bad) experience there.
