I’ve been telling myself I want to be in the birth centre this whole pregnancy but now seems like it’s not the case. Are there any positive induction stories? I can only think of the ones wher it’s really painful etc so would be nice to hear of some successful ones
Hi everyone my first little girl was born July 2023, we are soon going to try for our second. I have heard so many unfortunate stories of people who have struggled to conceive a second time. I need positive stories please is it possible that I will get pregnant quickly? We conceived after 3 months with our first! ...
If you were induced what method did you use and how’d it go?
Had my midwife appointment yesterday and baby is 2/5 engaged and been loosing my mucus plug im fairly sure, am i right in thinking its thicker mucus than normal? My last pregnancy i was induced at 34 weeks so i have no idea on what to expect now Feeling lots of pressure and a increase in discharge 36 weeks today!!...
I had baby #1 via C-section in South Africa - it didn’t go well and I have quite bad PTSD. I am now trying for baby #2 and am terrified about the birthing process🙈 How is the C-section here in the UK? Is it elective? Can I be completely under anaesthetic (don’t judge💔)? My OBGYN in SA suggested I be under full…
Normal or should I be concerned? Getting out of breath doing normal things whereas last week it was going up the stairs/ walking a lot. I am seeing midwife next week and might bring it up then
After a tough few weeks of gestational hypertension and reduced growth, baby decided to make her own appearance at 37 weeks and 5 days. 4 hour labour with a natural delivery because by the time I got to triage i was already 7 cm and dilating fast! She is absolutely perfect. 💗
I’m getting induced at 38+1 due to GD so I’m having a November baby rather than early December ☺️ Currently 35w, scan in two weeks then induction the week after 😳 it’s becoming so real! I can’t believe I’m going to have a baby in my arms in potentially 3weeks time!! I’m going to stay in this group just a little…
Any positive induction stories? I’m being induced next week and although I’m currently feeling okay (and excited to meet my boy🥳🥹) about it all… I know I’ll be worrying over the next week that I don’t know how it’ll go etc. Ease my mind please ladies! 🩵
Hey just looking for some advice please ☺️ I had a scan at 30 weeks to see if my placenta had moved as it was low lying and I was told that it did not and my baby was lying in a transverse position, so I now have another scan at 36 weeks and an appointment with the consultant the day after. I have terrible anxiety a...
Are you choosing induction later or waiting for spontaneous labor?
I wonder how long is normal to have period like blood, and how much of it?
In true Halloween fashion have lost a blood tinged mucus plug this morning. No contractions or anything like that, any idea how long after it takes to go into labor? Second baby if that matters…and 39+4
How long after losing the mucus plug did you go into labour? Or it's unrelated to certain extent?
How do I know if im leaking amniotic fluid or just regular vaginal discharge?
Is anyone opting for a c-section? My first birth was quite traumatic for me and my husband so I’m edging more towards a c-section but to be honest, just birth in general this time is terrifying me 😫
Just woke up to pee and notice panties kind of wet. Went to change them and notice liquid coming down continuously. So guessing my water broke. Headed to labor and delivery now. 🤞🏾
Kaiz’Lynn Camille made her arrival 10/30/24 @9:50 pm, 7lbs & 7oz , 19in long. 2 days before my induction. She had lots of meconium in the amniotic sac with her. Thankfully, it didn’t have any effect on her and she’s a very healthy baby!!
Hi mamas. So I’m getting induced sadly on the 6th, I’ll be 41 weeks by then and the Dr said my body looks so far away from going into labor, so I decided to get an induction because I just can’t hold on anymore. She told me I will be taking cytotec, and pitocin. I haven’t heard of cytotec personally. She said it...
Hi, Just wondering if there’s any mummas out there that had a c section under general anaesthetic instead of a spinal for medical reasons? I’m unable to have a spinal but I’m so stressed and sad I won’t be awake to see baby girl born/have that first skin to skin etc. Has anyone had the same and if so was it all okay...
