Every day I wonder if baby would be better off if I switched to formula, it still stresses me out that I don't know how much he's getting from the boob - he is putting on weight, plenty of nappies, but I just think it would be a bit easier if he was formula fed, routine would be easier and I'm sure he'd wake up less...
Ladies…how long are we breastfeeding before we say I’m done lol I have been EBF for 7 weeks and my goal was 6 months ish as I go back to work Feb/March however I didn’t realise how much it takes out of you not only physically but also mentally…and I have loved every moment of it and the comfort it gives my LG but h...
Our girl is 14 months she was still breastfeeding at night but we stopped cause it was just for comfort and we really want to get pregnant. How long did it take for any of you ladies to get your period back when cutting down bfeeding? 💓
Why does my breast milk taste so weird after being frozen? My baby hates my frozen breast milk and I tried a bit and it tastes disgusting
Does anyone know why some babies/kids do the 6 steps milk ladder and others the 12 steps one? What’s the difference apart from one being longer than the other? I have an appointment on the 6th to start the milk ladder and wonder which one we will need to do x
My baby is almost 7 months old and has always been exclusively breastfed. I need to go back to work just before he turns one. When should I start weaning him off breast milk? He is refusing a bottle and I don’t know how to go about it all 😭
When did you get your period back? I'm 17 weeks postpartum, stopped breastfeeding at 6 weeks postpartum and have not got it back yet. I had one depo the firat week after giving birth and I had the second depo 3 months after. Is this normal? Thanks.
So when I pump I put it into a container and into the fridge, in rotation. Today I looked at the front container and it looked like ‘blood’ had sunk to the bottom of the container. When I shook it, it looked normal again. I picked at my nipple yesterday and it bled so I’m assuming this may be it, but is it safe to g...
My 10 week old cluster feeds every evening and in the morning sometimes too....I'm EBF. It means I'm never getting a rest as when my husband gets home/ toddler is in bed I can't really give my LO to my husband as he just wants to feed all the time. Anyone else experiencing this? Have any advice?
My daughter just bit the hell out of me while nursing. I never wanted to fight someone more 😂 that crap hurt
My little bubba is 7 months old and I am thinking to stop breastfeeding. Any suggestions on how I go about doing this ?
Hey! When did y’all start pumping? I have a one weeker and am exclusively breast feeding right now… I want to pump eventually but have been reading not to start until she’s 3 weeks.
This might seem like a really silly question but I’m a first time mum to a prem baby ! When do you know to start giving them more milk? If I give my baby 90ml he will suckle after to say he’s hungry , but he will also do that if you give him 120 ml, so when do I know how much milk is enough and how much I should b...
My baby on occasional feeds has started clamping down on my nipple when feeding. Not pleasant! If she does it when she has teeth that will be my breastfeeding journey over, unless I can stop her doing it. The expression on her face shows that she is doing it on purpose (like a little demon 🤪) and I can’t work out…
My baby is 12 days old and I am still struggling at times to get him to open his mouth wide enough to latch on. When he eventually does it, he latches on well and feeds well. How long did it take people to get comfortable with feeding and for their baby to latch on quite quickly and also for their nipples to be less...
Can anyone give good recomendations for handsfree breast pump as I am struggling which one to buy
Hi! I'm 2 days postpartum, and I just started pumping. I was wondering how long it took for your nipples to get used to pumping and stop feeling tender?
Hi ladies. I’ve woken up this morning again with mastitis. My daughter is 9 weeks old and I have mainly been exclusively pumping the breastmilk for her, with the odd formula when I haven’t produced enough (I’m a just about supplier). I told myself that if I got mastitis again I would be stopping my journey with th...
Don’t know if it’s a mixture of sweat, milk and baby’s saliva or something else 😣
My little one is starting nursery soon but is still breastfed, he does not want formula or a bottle. Anyone else in the same boat? How do I go about this? Can I just get him into a routine where he has the breast morning and night?
