Struggling

I'm struggling to find something I can do from home. Previously, before my first, I worked in childcare for years. Now I have 2 at home and were staying with family. No vehicle. Does anyone know if I need to stay employed to take my paid family leave or if I’m able to quit my job and then take PFL? I was planning to leave anyway and want to take my PFL while looking for something else.

Mosquito bites when pregnant

I’m 19 weeks pregnant and have been eaten alive by mosquitos at a BBQ last night. Google says I need to contact a GP or my midwife as this could cause issues for the baby. Has anyone else done this? I don’t want to sound over worried on the phone for no reason if I don’t need to

Returning SMP back to the company?

Hi guys, I was wondering if I’ll have to return the SMP money to my company if I choose not to work with them after my maternity leave is finished. On the UK gov website, it’s written that I don’t have to return the maternity pay but wanted to double check here if anyone’s employer had asked to return.

Hi I was wondering if you can apply for both sdi and pfl or is there a time frame where I can use the sdi/pfl and use the other right after? Basically i dont know which to apply for first bc my job doesn’t offer paid maternity leave and making that extra little income would help so much! Thanks! 😊
