Hi everyone! Just want to start buying for my hospital bag so I can get prepared. Please can people tell me what I need to take? Or anything you wish you brought to the hospital with you. Thanks so much 🫶🏻 *I plan on bottle feeding*
For those who have had c sections before. How long did you have to wait before you could have a shower again? Or even a bath? I'm guessing about 2 weeks 🤷♀️
Ladies have you seen same consultant throughout your pregnancy journey? I have been seeing all different ones during my appointments. I am planning to ask for elective c-section on my 36 week appointment, have already spoken to a consultant last time and she mentioned this can be booked on 36 week appt. But definite...
Hey Ladies any of you recommend anything to flatten c section scar? Had my section 16 weeks ago, and the end where they have done the knotting etc it more raised & a little shelf where as the rest is flat (vain I know but it bugs me, as after my first one it was perfect looking) Looking to see if anyone has used an...
I’m 40 weeks pregnant today and my contractions were becoming regular (every 5/6 minutes) and stronger, and eventually just eased off. Have any of you mamas had false alarms like this? It’s a little frustrating as I’m going through all these contractions and doesn’t seem to be leading to labour 😢
I just finished packing my daughter’s overnight bag for when I go into labor and I cannot stop crying. This is the first time she will be away from us overnight and I know she’ll be okay since she’ll be staying with my mom and sisters but I’m a mess! All i have packed is her clothes and toiletries since she has tons...
I’m 8 days post c section and am struggling with keeping the area clean and dry because of my overhang. It’s also leaking a lot of fluid, I’ve been to gp and it’s not infected but I do have antibiotics just in case. Has anyone else had these issues? Specifically the excessive fluid? And how long did it go on for?
Hi all, any positive/pro’s of elective c section? I’m debating opting for one as it’s been offered and would love to hear successful stories during and post op/recovery 💛
So, I had a growth scan today, and the baby is measuring at 7lb 11oz, and I'm 38+1. I was going for a natural birth, ideally a water birth. But now I'm torn (pardon the pun) on whether to have a c section, what do you think? I'm really leaning towards a c section, as I'm quite petite myself. X
Do you have a pouch above your scar? I’m going abroad and ordered some bikinis (brave I know) and the bottoms sit right in my scar 😭 the overhang is horrendous
7 weeks pp. I have tried to avoid lifting anything heavier than my baby. In the last couple of days I have started lifting the pram (I have a pretty weighty iCandy) into the car and out. Do you think thats ok at this stage? Anyone else started lifting heavier things? It’s so limiting not being able to but don’t want...
When y’all say you were in labor for X amount of hours , are y’all pushing for that long or what ? First time mama here lol
has anyone’s baby been put on this? my baby is preemie and I’m just cautious as the gp prescribed this to him today but upon reading, it says not to be given to preemie babies or a baby under 10lbs 😔
I’m 9 months PP and I’m pregnant again, plus I had a c-section. I need help!!! Any suggestions???
My midwife mentioned that because I’ll only be 23months post csection that I will more than likely not be allowed to go over my due date with this pregnancy if I wanted a successful vaginal delivery. Has this been the case for anyone ? Or has anyone went over and still been successful? I want to avoid induction as i...
Spoke to our consultant this morning and booked in for a planned C-Section at 39 weeks. My husband’s original plan was the take 4 weeks off (starting the day of the section) but it’s likely now it’ll be 3 weeks. I know this is so much more time than many get so I am incredibly thankful. Having said this, I had a bit...
Have anyone one this app ever went in labor early ?? just asking, because on the other app I was on a lot women was going in labor around 27-36 weeks. Some people say it could have something to do with the weather like the hurricane. Specially a lot of moms that are due in November.
Any tips how to get rid of this trapped wind after a section? Hurts more than the bloody incision!! It’s taking my breath away. I’ve tried peppermint tea too
I’m 38+4 and need baby to engage asap in time for my sweeps next week. This is to prevent me requiring a c section due to high risk factors. Please share all your tips at getting baby to engage and inducing labour
So I’m 39+3 and as I was wiping I saw two small jelly looking things lol. It had a yellow tinge? I’ve also had a lot of watery discharge in the last 24 hours and I know some discharge can be Kelly like. How likely that this could be some of my mucus plug or show?
