Am I Being Weird MIL wanting to take baby out all the time

My baby is now 11 months old and my MIL from the start has wanted to take my daughter out for walks. I’ve been very uncomfortable with it and now I’ve started but still super uncomfortable with it 😂 just trying to let her go once a month or something to shut her up. Basically there’s no exact reason right, my MIL…

Christmas present for nursery teachers?

I just wondered if people are planing on giving anything to the teachers at Christmas? I know maybe not everyone can afford this and that’s okay. My little one will probably do some arts and crafts to gift too! I was thinking of maybe doing a little hamper for all the teachers to share? I’m thinking that will be che...

So I could really use some advice- my son will be 4 in February and we’ve been consistently potty training since a couple months after he turned 3 years old. He does really good with peeing. We keep him naked from waist down all day and he’ll go pee fine with no accidents, but when it comes to poop, he will literall...

15 free hours childcare

Hi, am I correct in thinking that if my little boy doesn’t turn 9 months til may that we aren’t eligible for any free child care until the September? People keep telling me we are eligible for the 15 as soon as he turns 9 months in may and we get the 30 hours in September but I don’t think that is right?

Baby purée

I have been making most of my baby’s purées. Now that he is almost 7 months old, WIC is offering purée baby’s foods which I didn’t know. Does anyone get Wic and know which baby foods are best for baby? What do you use? Should I just keep puréing my own? What are you feeding your baby?!

Calpol at nursery then not allowed in the next day

Anyone else's nursery say they can't go in the day after they have been given calpol for a temperature? I swear working mums are doomed to fail. It's all so unfair and difficult.

22 month old son not sitting down to eat

Help! My son who is 22 months old can’t sit down for more than a minute to eat before leaving the chair and roaming around to go play. So he’s been eating so much less the past few weeks and we absolutely don’t enjoy the meal time (and I hate cooking for him now). How do you go through these emotions and still cook ...

Stuck up mum or normal? 🤣

So I’ve been taking my toddler to a music group once a week, he’s only 14 months old so he’s going through the grabbing phase! We’ve been teaching him “gentle hands” which he’s getting the hang of really well. Basically my toddler was touching this little girls (10mo) hair clip very gently and he was leaning on he...

Am I the only one who finds it weird when women judge other women for wanting their husbands last name?

I think it's weird to judge anyone for wanting their husbands last name but it's also weird to judge if they don't 🤷‍♀️ I say this because me and my friend were talking about it and she said she won't be taking her husbands last name when the time comes and I told her I get it some women have accomplishments in…

Struggling with a child

I'm going through a really hard time. I'm completely on my own. I have a 2 year old whos very demanding. I've had some things happen recently and am really struggling. Weaning

I am seeing so much conflicting advice on weaning. What age to start at, what foods to start with. And it is becoming very confusing. I have seen people say to start weaning from 4 months but others say not to start until 6 months. Is there any foods that they are not allowed until certain ages or better ones to sta...
