My daughters going to be 1 in a few weeks and I want to wean her off the boob and transition her to cows milk hopefully. She still goes on the boob in the night anywhere between once or 3 times. I’m thinking of how to settle her during the night as I try to wean her off. Has anyone gone through this stage and can...
My baby (4months old) is exclusively breastfed directly from the boob, and recently I’ve started trying to pump for the first time so that I can freeze some breast milk. But 20 minutes of pumping each side I can only seem to get 1oz total? I’ve tried 5 times. My baby is satisfied after feeding directly and is growi...
I’m sure it’s been asked a million times, but looking for recommendations for a double portable pump please! Thanks in advance :)
Does anyone worry or feel anxious about their baby getting enough milk/food? It started when my boy was newborn.. but I’ve realised it affects me when he doesn’t eat as much or when he’s sick 😣🥺 luckily my boy has a big appetite, eats well, loves his milk and isn’t poorly often 🙌🏼 but I just wanted to share this…
Hey anyone else noticed their baby just not interested in their morning bottle? My lG is 7 months and will have breakfast but won’t have her morning bottle at all. Illl give her weetabix or porridge made with the milk used from the morning bottle made like 3 ounces of it maybe is this ok if she doesn’t have the bott...
Any tips on how to stop my almost 8mo from pinching my boob while feeding please? She literally grabs me with both hands like a cup with handles and I'm starting to get bruises. 🙃
I remember with my first I had the bright yellow colostrum and the transitional milk for a lot longer! I’m 3dpp and my milk looks white already?
The only way I can get any milk is if I pump this way. Using a handheld pump. I have to use my other hand to use the hand pump part. This has taken me 10 minutes on this one side. I am taking supplements to increase supply.
How on earth do you ladies find the time? LO is EBF & I’ve been back to work for 6 weeks and I really struggle to find the time to pump, and when I do pump I struggle to get a decent amount (sometimes I can get 4oz, sometimes not even an oz). He feeds every 2hrs during the day & by time we’ve played, changed, settl...
No judgement please!! But can I pump and not breastfeed baby? Can I use it in other ways or is it useless xx
My daughter (17 months) won’t drink milk anymore. Is this normal? It all started when we got sick 2 and a half weeks ago. She’s eating like normal again and will drink juice and water. We have a pediatrician appointment Friday.
I am breastfeeding every 2-3 hours, but now I feel when I am feeding on one and leave the other side untouched until next feeding, it’s feeling really full… what do I do? I have a lactation first appt tomorrow evening but need to know if I should do something now as the other side is feeling full. Thank you mamas!
I think I’ve developed mastitis 😢 My right breast is very painful and there is a hard lump underneath. It’s painful to move too much. Aside from the NHS advice, anyone got any top tips to help? 😫 feeling desperate!
Anyone else have extremely sore nipples? Mine feel very sore, look swollen and pinkish. What can I do for them? Kind of worried they're gonna fall off or something. They are so sore but I need to pump.. need some advice. I've tried lanolin, Vaseline, saline spray. Idk what else I could even do for them.
Hey loves! This is my third child. For the past week I’ve been experiencing some excruciating pain in my nipples. I am 31 weeks today. I know my body is getting ready for breastfeeding. But, the pain sometimes is so unbearable I literally pave the floor. Is anybody else experiencing this? What products are you using...
Did/ Do you drink coffee if you are a breastfeeding mama
Anybody else just so ready to stop breastfeeding/ pumping? I feel so guilty as it's only been a month, but my supply isn't the greatest & overall it's just mentally & physically so exhausting ugh. Shout out the mamas who stick to this for 6m-1 year it is tough!!!!!
I’m so sure i want to try and exclusively breastfeed my baby. I know some people who planned on breastfeeding but when baby got here it just didn’t work for them. I want to know of other people’s experiences around it. Thanks!
If I broke up with my partner. What happens with out 4 month old little boy? He's breastfed so needs me all the time. Also don't want him to have him because he's irresponsible and has a drinking problem. I've just had enough! 😭😭
Does anyone have a fridge in their bedroom for overnight pumping? Or a breast milk cooler bag. I am using. Hakka but don't want o keep going downstairs to store my milk at midnight, then 2am, 4am and 7am.. very jarring!
