Lo got bitten at nursery

Looking for some nursery advice. My little girl had just turned 3. She goes to nursery 3 days a week. Last Nov she was bitten by another girl. The incident report said that the girl had pushed my daughter earlier in the day and then several hours later walked over to where she was playing and bite her arm. The nurse...

When can baby sleep through feedings?

My 2 week old needs to be woken up in between feedings (every 3-4 hours) at night…when can I just wait for her natural wake up to feed her? I.e. let me sleep longer too?!?

Dream feeds

We still dream feed (formula) and HV suggested stopping this to help baby sleep at night but I’m so nervous this will cause more wakes with hunger. Anyone done this and baby slept better?

5month old cries with family members

My baby recently started crying with my parents and husband’s parents and before she wouldn’t do that now she cries so much you would think she’s being tortured and only me or my husband are able to calm her down. She instantly stops when we get her. Is this a phase that babies go through? How long does it last? Thi...

Swaddles

Anyone’s LO doesn't seem to like the Love to Dream swaddles? What do you use instead? She seems okay with tommee tippee sleeping bag but can also sleep at night without one (contact sleeping or in bed with me) - not ideal according to lullaby trust I know but it’s the only way she sleeps at all for now.

Last wake window

How long are we pushing the last wake window for our 9 month olds? I've recently had to drop to 2 naps which means his last wake window before bedtime is almost 4 hours (one day we did 5 hours as we were out and he wouldn't nap and I felt so bad for him 😭). His 2nd nap now finishes around 4-4:30 and bedtime is at…

Toddler won't unlatch at night

So, I have a 18 month old, she's always been milk mad and I've never really been that bothered by he amount of time it takes to get her to sleep (average 1-2hrs of feeding) but I recently found out I'm pregnant and it's starting to worry me a bit. She stays latched for a good 45+mins for her nap and bedtime is usual...

Breast pump recs

I’m due twins this summer, I’d like to pump again like I did my last baby but that was 5 years ago so I can’t even remember what one I had! Anyone have a good recommendation for pumps? I’m UK based. Thanks 🙂

Worried I’m over feeding

My baby is formula fed and he is currently 7.5 weeks & weighs just over 12lb. Today he has around 35oz of formula, and he’s been hungry every 2-2.5 hours (between 5 and 6oz throughout the day) I know it’s ’feed on demand’ but I don’t want him to be eating too much? Is anyone else’s baby the same?

Sleep Regression

Hey!! This may sound like a ridiculous question but I’m aware there’s going to be a 4 month sleep regression coming… but without sounding stupid, what does that mean?? Are they more hungry so wake up for feeding or is it just that they wake themselves up so just need to be soothed back to sleep???

How is everyone coping with teething?

At least that’s what everyone says it is but I’m not convinced.. LO used to sleep through the night but now wakes up absolutely hysterical and screaming down the place and she’s screaming and crying in the day too on and off. Never ever did this before.. she’s not even been asleep for an hour tonight and already wok...

It’s like his a new born again, constantly waking up to be soothed back to sleep to waking every 3 hours for food and just in general rubbish sleep tossing back and forth. Anyone else experiencing or...
