Hospital Reviews

Hi beauties, I am deciding where to give birth and looking for your honest feedback on NHS maternity units. If you gave birth at St Thomas or at Imperial (Paddington), can you give your honest feedback on the experience / room / staff etc.? Thanks!

Has anyone been induced who had a C-section in the past

Hi am 39 weeks and they are offering to induce me however Iā€™ve heard if youā€™ve had a c section before induction will lead to C-section. Has anyone had a successful natural birth after being induced? I just donā€™t want to go through with it all if itā€™s not going to be successful and end up with c section :/

Birth story (itā€™s not a good one so donā€™t read if youā€™re still pregnant)

I went to my 38 midwife appointment, I mentioned I had reduced movements so she sent me to the hospital where they advised I should be induced. I stupidly agreed just wanting to meet my baby. They tried putting the balloon in which failed and caused me excruciating pain. Because that midwife couldnā€™t do it, she aske...

Second birth after episiotomy

I had an awful birth and recovery with my first. Baby was back to back, I was exhausted from 3 hours of pushing and a long labour and ended up in theatre with forceps and an episiotomy. We then had to spend 3 days on the special care unit for Baby and I was feeling pretty traumatised by it all (feeling a bit better ...
