Hospital stay

Has anyone had a c section at RIE recently? What did your day look like if elective and was your partner allowed to stay overnight as I’m worried I won’t be able to move about as much afterwords and will be stressing trying to look after baby on my own whilst struggling

How to lose b-belly/over hang 12 months PP (c section) pic below

So cringe to post this but I think I’m at the worst I’ve been mentally regarding my body. I understand I brought a life into this world, but just over a year postpartum and I really dislike my stomach! I barely have sex anymore (partly because I’m shy now and partly because my partner called me fat one time - he a...

BRADFORD ROYAL INFIRMARY (Labour and partner)

I’m curious to anyone who has given birth on the labour ward in the middle of the night. Do they let your partner stay with you over night once you have given birth or do they send them home straight away? So if I give birth at 1am would they send him home straight away or would they allow him to sleep on the chair ?

C-section

FTM having a c-section next week. Consultant said as I have high BMI it may take longer for wound to heal so I’ll have to take care of it better, cleaning and drying it properly to prevent infection. What are plus size mums expertise with c-section healing, especially if you have a bit of a belly which may “cover”...

St Helier Birthing Centre

Does anyone know how likely you will be to get the birthing centre if you request it in advance? Or is it just dependant on what they have available on the day? Anyone had experience? Thanks so much!

driving after c section

I’m 7 days post c-section and starting to feel really anxious about my husband returning to work next week. He works all over the country so he’s often leaving early hours and getting home late. Means I’ll be stuck inside my flat with no way of getting myself out the house for another 4 weeks if following guidelines...
