I’m 32 weeks and I’ve had to wear a pad recently for the amount of discharge, this is my 3rd baby so more than used to this. However today there was an excessive amount which was stringy/jelly like texture, slightly tinged yellow too, but no smell.. surely this couldn’t be my mucus plug already?

40+2 today and had my first sweep. Midwife said I’m 2cm dilated, cervix is soft and very low. Anyone been in a similar position and the sweep been successful at starting labour? This is my first pregnancy and wanted to know others experiences.
