Mucus plug

I'm 38 weeks today and I had my membrane sweep yesterday. I just used the primrose oil and lost my mucus plug which had some blood tinged on it. How long after did labor start ? I was also 4cm dilated and 70 percent effaced.

How soon is too soon for baby #2

So my baby girl is only 3.5 months old but I’ve had baby fever pretty much since she turn a month old. Obviously it’s still too early to purposely get pregnant again. When I looked it up though the recommendation is 18 months postpartum. That seems like such a long time. Any thoughts on length of time between pregna...

4 days post c section

I’m 4 days after a c section and noticed if I’m sat on the edge of the bed or kind off crunched over I get a really bad burning/stinging pain just above my wound. Has anyone else had this? It’s so painful and I can’t get relief unless I’m laid down

Sweep

Has anyone had a successful sweep? I had one yesterday (40 weeks), midwife said my cervix was 1cm dilated and very thin, I also lost my mucus plug last night after it. Could labour be near? Would love to hear anyone’s experiences?

Wanting another baby

I want another baby. I'm about to turn 38, and I want to have another soon. My daughter will soon be 20 months. With me getting older, I hear people say they have a harder time getting pregnant. I know that with my daughter, it took us a couple of months. I know my husband would say, "Let's wait a little longer." A...

Can your partner stay with you?

Hello, does anyone know what the rules are for partners at Broomfield after you’ve given birth? Can they stay with you all the time or do they have “visiting hours” too?
