I'm 38 weeks today and I had my membrane sweep yesterday. I just used the primrose oil and lost my mucus plug which had some blood tinged on it. How long after did labor start ? I was also 4cm dilated and 70 percent effaced.
So my baby girl is only 3.5 months old but I’ve had baby fever pretty much since she turn a month old. Obviously it’s still too early to purposely get pregnant again. When I looked it up though the recommendation is 18 months postpartum. That seems like such a long time. Any thoughts on length of time between pregna...
I’m 4 days after a c section and noticed if I’m sat on the edge of the bed or kind off crunched over I get a really bad burning/stinging pain just above my wound. Has anyone else had this? It’s so painful and I can’t get relief unless I’m laid down
I’ve had 2 children in the last two and a bit years (22/23) both via c section and I’ve just found out I’m pregnant again we have tried to be so careful with the ‘pull out’ method and this has been an utter surprise to me I’m so scared who has had c sections this close together
Hey mamas, second c-section here. Just a question for other mamas, did you feel any pain after the procedure? I didn’t feel mine for 3 weeks and now have pain at my incision.
Has anyone had a successful sweep? I had one yesterday (40 weeks), midwife said my cervix was 1cm dilated and very thin, I also lost my mucus plug last night after it. Could labour be near? Would love to hear anyone’s experiences?
When is everyone packing their hospital bags. I'm 32 weeks and haven't thought about it yet 😅😂
How many of you just had a gut feeling that’d you’d give birth early (not necessarily pre term) and were right?
I want another baby. I'm about to turn 38, and I want to have another soon. My daughter will soon be 20 months. With me getting older, I hear people say they have a harder time getting pregnant. I know that with my daughter, it took us a couple of months. I know my husband would say, "Let's wait a little longer." A...
Hello, does anyone know what the rules are for partners at Broomfield after you’ve given birth? Can they stay with you all the time or do they have “visiting hours” too?
Waters have gone but no contractions yet, due to go in to get checked out! This is second baby and the first broke in hospital.
What did anyone pack for hospital snacks?
I had to have a c-section and I’m currently 9 days pp. it still hurts and soon will be just be on ibuprofen for pain. I’m a little worried because when I do feel my incision some parts of it feel bulky/ swollen vs other parts of it feels flat… is that normal?
Anyone had fast induction with a foley balloon? Did you keep active/walking during the induction ect? I really want to help my body as much as I can
