I'm 2 weeks post c section. My husband goes back to work on Monday. I am itching to have independence back and being able to go to the shop or park when I want. When did everyone else drive again? Is anyone waiting until 6 weeks?
Is anyone else having jelly like discharge? I’m 7 weeks post partum. 😭
Hi girls, I’m wanting an elective C Section due to various different reasons (this is my first baby). I have really bad anxiety and I’m starting to worry about the recovery and also the Catheter removal after the surgery. 1. Is it really painful for the catheter to be removed? 2. Is the recovery as awful as everyo...
a) A spare outfit (for the baby, of course) b) Enough snacks to feed a small army c) Wipes, wipes, and more wipes d) All of the above (plus a few surprises)
Found out I’ll be induced using the balloon how does this work? Do I have to be dilated a certain amount? Does Labour tend to happen quick with the balloon? Please tell me all I need to know as I’m scared aha
So been confirmed this morning I'm going to be induced at 39 weeks now I'm on Metformin which I was expecting, but not sure what exactly to expect so hopefully anyone who's been in the same boat can enlighten me? They were obviously very behind with the clinics today so were rushing through and we're a bit non commi...
Any tips or links would be appreciated. Don't know where to start!! 😫 I'm 5 months pp.
Hello, does anyone else have a short toddler? My little girl is 30 months old and is only 82cm and still fits in to 12-18 month trousers. At her 27m health check the HV wasn’t concerned at all. Just said it’s genetics. My and my husband are both short so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. She has a great diet and...
I'm 38 weeks on the dot and after being admitted for almost a week already with pains and tightenings, they've decided to induce me today! Can anyone share how long their induction took and what method they went for? I'm hoping it's not too long as I can't cope with pain for long periods of time. I've also heard th...
Is scaring me because he keeps mentioning the risk of uterine rupture if I induce , I did some research on it and now I’m scaring myself. Should I consider another c section to be safe? Or just wait it out until 42 weeks. The risk of uterine rupture gets higher with each pregnancy and can be life threatening for mom...
finally made it to the hospital after being on hold for 4 hours and did a cervic check in 0cm dilated 0% effaced😭it’s gonna be such a long night

So I’m 38+2, and me and bf did the deed last night and I’m really thinking this is gonna set off labour, had cramps for about 1.5 hours afterwards then wake up this morning to… nothing😂 definitely made myself think sex was going to be a magic labour inducing thing 🤣 can confirm it was not haha
Feels weird not being in the room w my baby and they only allow mom and dad to go see her. Can’t wait to just freely have her and also have loved ones see her
Not sure if he will try but I think so and I’m still contemplating if I should since he gave me such a hard time while pregnant I don’t want him to give me more trouble eventually.
Thought I’d share some tips that have made my second birth easier. 1. Take a Stanley type of cup with you with a long straw for hydration . Makes it easier as they are big and can store a lot of fluid in one go. 2. extra long charger 3. sunglasses- soo much faffing around with the lights if you end up on the w...
Is it labor? Have had mild cramps all of today. 39 weeks on Sunday. Just wiped a ton of brown weird looking discharge. Could it be me just dilating?
I had my baby via c section yesterday and I have the worst pain in my right shoulder, they’ve said it’s acid/ gas pain? Does anyone have any tips on how to ease this pain? It’s really painful and uncomfortable
If you’ve delivered pre-term the first time, when did you deliver the second born? I delivered my first born : 34+4
Anyone else keep peeing themselves? 🤣 Every time I pee there is always an extra trickle and sometimes I can catch it but sometimes - most of the time - I keep wetting myself! Lol
