Postnatal bleeding

How long did everyone else bleed for after c- section? I know generally speaking it can last anywhere up to a couple months and I’m only on week 2. I’m just curious how much longer i have to put up with taking 20 minutes to pee because I have to change pads.

Pain a month after c section

Just wondering if it's normal to still be needing painkillers (paracetamol and ibuprofen) a month after my csection? I feel like from others I've spoken to it might not be? I'm definitely taking less now but I still get quite sore at times and need a top up. Should I be feeling less pain by this point?

2024 Tax returns

What are your tax returns looking like with a child? Does your partner or you claim the child(s)? If you made significantly less than they did, or a sahm & it benefits you more, are you sharing the return with your partner?

Do I have to lose my mucus plug in order to go into labor?

I'm due soon with my second, but I was induced with my first and never got to experience going into labor by myself so I was curious if it's kind of a requirement to lose your mucus plug before going into labor 🤔 (or if it's possible to not notice losing your whole mucus plug?) I've lost bits and pieces of mine…

Would you sue or is it even worth it?

This is something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately. So I had to have a c-section which is nobody’s fault however I had to be put under which was the hospitals fault. My daughter is 16m so this happened back in 2023 but still bothers me. A little before 3pm they came to talk about options because I wasn’t dilati...

Body postpartum

I see so many posts about “c section overhang”… and I have had a c section myself and thought that this was the reason my body isn’t the same. But I’ve seen posts where women who have had natural births still have an overhang, my question is, do you think birth can just change your belly in general, or is it mainly ...

Is there any advice that anybody has on C-sections? I have a tilted pelvis and I unfortunately will have to have one. I’m roughly about nine weeks. I find out for sure next Thursday on my first appointment. Any and all advice will be appreciated even if it’s just helpful tips.

C-section recovery

Hi all, I’ve been told that I’m likely to be induced early due to some issues with the baby, and I think I’m leaning towards having a planned c-section instead of an induction. I just wondered if people could tell me their stories of c-section recovery so I know what to expect? My husband will have to go back to wor...
