Behaviour

Anyone else’s 3 year olds behaviour become a nightmare? The last few weeks have been tough, the tantrums are endless, nothing is enjoyable, I can’t step a foot right, I hate leaving the house but also hate staying in it. I can’t win. Every day he’s not at nursery I dread. He kicks off at anything and everything. I c...

Mild Delay

So my boy just turned 14 months a couple days ago and he’s behind in a couple different milestones..mainly concerned about him not pointing, waving, or handing/showing toys. His pediatrician is aware, just wondering if anyone is in the same boat? Or just any advice really. I am worried but trying to hold strong and ...

Is the terrible 2's feeling like it's just getting worse (like it is for me, I'm losing it) or is it getting better the closer they're getting to 3?

I'm seriously getting super depressed with the turn my soon to be 3 year old's behavior has taken. I don't know what else to do.

Still not talking

My child says nothing besides dada and sometimes mama when he’s crying. He makes a variety of sounds, and follows many commands. He understands a lot! Can point to his eyes, hair, ears, nose mouth head knees toes etc… he knows the kitchen trash bath time bed time outside and more commands. But will not say anything....

Tip toeing?!

Anyone’s baby tip toeing and concerned? My son just started like a week ago and we thought it was a result of him twisting his ankle (which he probably did but he seems fine now). But now he’s still doing it on and off? Sign of autism or normal? 😣😣😣😣😣

Gentle parenting 🫠

How am I supposed to gentle parent a child that literally doesn't stop crying ever? He literally just screamed and cried for 30+ minutes because he wanted a chocolate chip granola bar right after dinner (that he refused) and I told him he had to wait until after pjs.

My 4 year old is throwing more tantrums

Right now my 4 year old is going through some kind of change… she has thrown at least two tantrums a day for a while now.. and it’s over the smallest things and it’s so hard to calm her down. And I understand that when she is throwing tantrums, it’s not the time to talk to her because I know that her brain is in fig...

20 month old still not talking

My just turned 20 months and still isn’t saying many words. A referral for a speech therapist has been put in, but still haven’t heard anything. I would love some advice on what to do, I feel like i’m failing. He’s said Mama, Dada (a few times), ball, yuh (yeah), oos (shoes). He signs for more, all done, & waves hi...

Playing with baby

Anyone else’s baby kind of shakes/ shivers their especially their arms when they are over excited? I’ve noticed my baby does it sometimes, I’ve read it’s completely normal but when she starts doing it I get worried and stop whatever we are doing.

Pre walker shoes

I’m torn about whether I should buy my son some pre walker shoes or not. He is standing but not unaided, is kind of cruising around the furniture but not fully. I’ve been looking at the Clarks pre-walkers. Would you suggest buying them at this stage? Or waiting until he’s actually walking? When I take him out ...

Avoiding autism meltdowns

Km really struggling with my meltdowns atm and I'm actually embarrassed by them. I get overstimulated so so easy now and my meltdowns have hit a point where I scream and flail and throw things like a toddler. My area doesn't provide any support for this so I'm just having to survive by myself and apologise to my bab...

Sign of autism?

Questioning if my son has autism or just normal development. The top sign I’ve noticed is he likes to run/walk with his eyes closed when playing, when he is upset he flaps his hands, he will randomly tiptoe walk not all the time and not for long, he repeats what he is saying a few times or until you answer him and h...

Toddler tantrums

My son who is 16 months had just started to have proper meltdowns. Recently we’ve been having maybe 5-10 meltdowns a day because he gets upset by something really minor. I know it’s just their developmental age but oh my goodness. I’ll take his jeans off to get him ready for bed and he just screams and flops around ...

Behavioural issues

I have an appointment with the hv tomorrow to discuss my concerns but thought I would see if anyone else is/has gone through something similar and whether my son could potentially have ASD traits. Things that make me think he could potentially have Autism are putting fingers in his ears a lot ( doesn’t seem to be ju...
