Feeling frustrated with toddler

Am I alone in this or does anyone else feel the same ? My daughter is 3 years old and just won’t ever act normally. Shes forever moving, jumping, fidgeting. I can’t read more than 2 pages of a book to her and she’s pulling at the pages or kicking and making annoying loud noises. I cannot have a conversation with he...

Not crawling or standing

I have a 13 month old boy and he has made no effort to crawl or stand up. Should I be concerned?

Repeating myself constantly

Overall i believe my little ones pretty well behaved but recently she is driving me mad over the simple things! It might be that it’s time to put her pyjamas on and I will call her 5 times and she will STILL blank me. I know if I called her and told her to come and eat a massive piece of chocolate she would be runni...

Crawling baby

I bed share with my 8 month old. My partner sleeps on our normal double bed, and then our baby and I sleep on a double bed which is on the floor next to him. Our baby has really started to roll all over the place. The other day I woke up and he had rolled off the top of the bed (yes the top, not the side haha.) Got ...

Not walking yet

Hiya - I guess I am looking for some reassurance. My little boy was born 7th January 2024 and he still isn’t walking yet! He cruises around the room all day and is constantly looking to stand. He can climb up and down the stairs, on and off the sofa and also climb on soft play etc he will walk with hands for a few s...

At what age did (would) you stop changing in front of your children?

My LO is only two so I don’t know if I should be thinking about this now. But she is very smart. She knows she has a vulva and mummy has the same. She has now noticed that daddy has something different and she was asking “what’s that daddy?”. He panicked and quickly changed the topic (I would’ve just told her it’s a...

Hey mamas, I just wanna share my feelings

Every time I scroll through TikTok or Instagram, I come across posts about SIDS or other scary things happening to babies — and honestly, it terrifies me. I try to scroll past quickly, but the thoughts stick with me. I start overthinking, I keep checking if my baby’s breathing okay, if everything’s alright. I couldn...

When did your baby start listening ?

Just curious when did everyone’s 16 month old start to listen to/understand/follow directions/orders, if they do. Mine will look at me and ignore me😂he clearly is not there yet but when I ask him to give me something he chucks it at me, that’s about it. He doesn’t understand much, just babbles all day long.

Getting worried

I’m getting really worried about my boys physical development (9 months on Thursday) - he still can’t roll from his tummy onto his back, he isn’t crawling but can move from sitting to lying on his front and he won’t weight bare on his legs (if he does it’s for a few seconds) My daughter was crawling and standing up...

Not babbling

Anyone else’s baby not babbling at 13 months? My son does not say mama dada baba or anything like that. He does make sounds though, laughs a lot. He can say ah and tries to form some shapes with his mouth. Any thoughts welcome, thank you

Stubborn boy

My 27 month old LB is so very stubborn. I know we are at a stage where he wants to do everything himself and that's ok. But we are struggling with things outside the house. Specifically holding our hand when walking. He just wants to walk by himself. We've tried explaining to him about safety, and how he needs to ho...

Repeating words

Looking for a little bit of advice really as feeling quite emotional. I just got my daughter from nursery and they have suggested for her to go to speech therapy because she keeps repeating words all the time as in she’ll keep saying the word over and over again until you repeat it back to her. I know she does this ...

Change in behaviour

Has anyone else’s little ones behaviour fully switched recently? I’m really struggling with my little boy at the minute, it’s tough. Every single day is a battle from the minute he wakes up (without exaggerating) up until he goes to sleep and then it’s all kicking and screaming. I expect this behaviour around this a...
