Hey girls, How long did it take for your stomach to ‘deflate’ after having a c-section?
Had appt today, and C section date, has been set! Although I’ve been warned babies could come at any point now so to be prepared. Eeek, now starting to sound and feel very real (& scary). Has anyone else had their C section dates set..?
Whilst I am high risk, my consultant confirmed that I don’t need to be induced early. Does anyone know if I can request a c section the week I am due if baby doesn’t come naturally by 40 weeks or do I have to wait until 40+7?
How easy/difficult is it to change hospitals? After reading reviews of Northwick Park I would like to switch.. does anyone have advice on this? When is the best time to do this?

Does anyone know if children count as visitors at southmead hospital or can they come with birthing partner and another visitor on the same day?
With my first baby I had a “sort of” planned c-section, I never went into labour. They got me in pretty quickly as I was already overdue so waters could have gone at any time. This was because baby never dropped into my pelvis so they were worried about chord prolapse, so very risky if my waters were to break…. Cur...

I have a best friends wedding one week before my due date with my second child. It’s like 2.5 hour drive away from my hospital. With my first born, I remember laboring at home for about 6 hours before going to hospital and I was 5cm dilated. (My water never broke, I just started having contractions) I’ve been told t...

Hi everyone! I’m due next month and will be in the Ulster Hospital. I was under the impression that birthing partners can be with you the entire time you’re there and not just visiting hours but saw a post somewhere that says it’s maybe only 9am-9pm? Not sure if I’m getting mixed up with birthing partner and partner...
