Birth Plan Question & Advice!

Are you planning on having a c-section, being induced or waiting until baby says it’s time 🤪? Our baby was breech so I was so set on having a c-section but he flipped and now I’m not sure what to do! I told my doctor for now I want to keep the date but it’s a few days before my due date. They said I could keep it…

A second C-section or VBAC?

I had my son prematurely via c section. I had placenta previa so I was mentally prepared for a c section quite early on and even though it was technically an emergency, it didn’t feel chaotic or scary and I had a really positive experience. My son will be 19 months when I have my second (and final) baby and I’m wond...

I recently bought the Joolz aer + with bassinet as I have a car seat that was barely used due to lockdown, said car seat is still in the loft🙈 can’t get it down as partner is away. I have a next to me under our bed, just took out bags of…

A little embarrassed…

Hi everyone, I’m a little embarrassed to post this but as a FTM I’m unsure if this is the start of my waters or from my recent activities with my partner 😳 I have put a pad on to see if anything else leaks out but it was very watery and not white/mucusy or sticky! What do we think?

Pain

Hey, can I ask how long people were still in some pain for post c section ? I still struggle now and can't walk too far or lift heavy items and I'm almost 5 weeks post section. Is this normal ? I get on with day to day activities but feel sore by the end of the day. Thanks :)

Early laboring at home?

Hi mamas!! First time mom here giving birth soon. I wanted to know if any of labored early at home and then went to the hospital because ideally, that’s what I would like to do. Did you tell your provider that you wanted to do that? Is this something you recommend to do? Or maybe not since I’m a FTM and we never ...

How far is your scheduled c-section date from the actual due date?

My doctor says she doesn’t schedule c-sections before 39 weeks of pregnancy but isn’t that cutting it kind of close? I know with my last one, they didn’t want to risk me going into labor on my own so we scheduled it 3 weeks before I was due. What’s being told to you?

Inducing labour

What does everyone recommend to help in any way to induce labour? Won’t be trying anything anytime soon as I still have 7 weeks left but if there’s anything I need to buy I’d like to be more prepared this time. Thank you :)

C section versus vaginal birth

Hi there, first pregnancy, second round IVF. I am 34 weeks tomorrow and am still unsure whether I should have elected c section or attempt vaginal birth. I have GD, and due to my age and the fact this is an IVF pregnancy, they class me as high risk, so I will be induced at 39 weeks if baby hasn’t decided to make an ...

38 weeks 3 days

I've been passing parts of my mucus plug for a couple days now (lost a part of it over a week ago as well) but today I passed a bigger piece with a tinge of blood in it. I've been mildly crampy in my back but haven't felt any contractions other than the occasional Braxton Hicks, which haven't been painful up to this...

We already have three young children, I do virtually all the parenting on my own and just started a Masters program. I’m 15.5 weeks. Just wanted to come on here and say I’m totally lost. Side note this pregnancy was unexp...

Elective C-Section stigma

*Long Post* It wasn’t until I became pregnant and chose an elective C-section, that I realized there is a huge stigma from other mothers when you choose to voluntarily have a C-section. I remember posting asking for tips on recovery etc and I would get comments saying “why would you choose that?” Or “but our bodies...
