To sweep or not to sweep?

I’m 39+5 and have lost a significant amount of my mucus plug today. I was going to contact the hospital today to request a sweep (my community midwife can’t fit me in until I’m 40+3) but I’m now wondering if I should just wait it out and see what happens? I know losing mucus plug isn’t necessarily an indicator but ...

Waters broke!

My waters went at 8am this morning. Trying so hard to stay calm and not absolutely panic 😂 barely anything was ready, only half way through packing hospital bag and washing clothes etc. Getting cramps every 20 mins or so and have the world's WORST haemorrhoids 😂 wish me luck!

When is ok to have sex again after a c section?

I am about to be 3 weeks post partum. I know with a c section, it’s not recommended to have sex too soon. My incision doesn’t hurt as bad as it used to of course.
