C section

Anyone else find it annoying they do not give you csection date until 7 days before I do not see myself lasting until 40 weeks , GD and previous emergency csection

Mucus poo

How often is a mucus poo a normal thing? I know it can be completely normal to have it every now and again but when should I be worried and what can it be?

If you were diagnosed with IUGR (fetal growth restriction) did you deliver early? If so how many weeks & were you in induced or did you go into labor naturally? Just found out my baby is in the 6th percentile and I’m 34 weeks so trying to prepare

Induction

My midwife today mentioned being induced early due to my mental health. Has anyone been through an induction? Would you mind talking to me about it? Due to past traumatic experiences I’m extremely anxious about labour so trying to gather any information I can. Thanks

Officially having an October Baby 🎃

Had my final scan today and baby’s placenta is still low so we’re moving onto having a planned c section which will move baby’s date from November 1st to sometime in late October! Excited I’ll get to meet baby sooner… a bit bummed I won’t have a vaginal birth but all we need is for baby and I to be safe! Does any...

When to drive postpartum?

I didn’t have any complications, stitches or medication needed after birth (vaginal) and I’m unsure when to start driving again. Does everyone have a timeframe?

The shakes?

Looking at a scheduled c section. Did anyone have a c section and not get the shakes? It seems like everyone I know had the shakes really bad and I’m just wondering if that’s always the case. Thanks!

Early induction

Are you able to ask/beg to be induced early?? I am so so over pregnancy, Ive struggled right from the start I’m always unwell and again I’m bed bound with absolute 0 energy to move it’s making me cry. I’m almost 34 weeks but just think how perfect it would be if baby came at 37/38 weeks.

Contractions

Is it normal to feel a couple of contractions one day and then nothing the next? I have felt a few in my back and some stronger ones in my stomach. I lost my mucus plug 3 days ago so just not sure if I’m just in slow early labour or no :/

Birth story

Baby girl arrived Sept 12. ❤️ I started having contractions at 2 am on the 10. Got up to use the bathroom around 3 and realize I was bleeding so I woke my husband up and I called L&D ( first baby so I was scared). They said it’s fine and I don’t need to come in. My contractions last the whole day. It was inconsist...

Contractions Started

Eeeeek my contractions started at about 5am this morning I’m pretty sure! They started as back labour contractions about every 10 minutes. They haven’t really progressed since then in terms of being more frequent and are still about every 10 mins. Not sure what to do at this point 😅

Mucus plug

Hey so I’m 38+3 weeks and just lost my mucus plug, prior to this I have been experiencing bad cramping for the past 2ish weeks. Is this a good indication of labour? How long after losing your plug did you go into labour? Thanks :)

Only me!

So.. it could only happen to me. I've come from the September group, been hoping for a vbac but was due a section this morning as baby has obviously been quite comfortable. Came downstairs this morning at 5.15 to get ready to be at the hospital for 7am for my section. Decided I would fall down the stairs, turns out ...
